MAX 2009 generated FBX, ensuring seamless integration across platforms. Lightwave 2015 generated FBX, unlocking new creative possibilities for modelers and animators alike. OBJ - includes the base object and all morph target objects, empowering artists to manipulate every detail of the model. This highly versatile Herring Gull comes with several pre-animated scenes to get you started right away. The wings are animated using the four bones within each wing, expertly rigged for lifelike movement. Wings can be folded using one of multiple morph targets, allowing for dynamic control over flight pose and movement. Additional adjustments like spreading wing tip feathers or adjusting tail positions can be made via morph targets. Master control lies with the ROOT bone, acting as the central axis for all animations. HerringGull-ZERO is the name given to my BASIC setup, devoid of animation - ideal for testing or fine-tuning your scene's environment. I have included multiple scene files to jump-start your creative process: Take-Off scenes capture the excitement of lift-off in exquisite detail. Land scenes portray a seamless transition from flight to landing with realistic finesse. Fly loop scenes deliver a thrilling experience, putting you in the cockpit. The feet and legs are carefully controlled by LT-FootRot and RT-FootRot respectively, ensuring precision movement. There are three neck bones: headbone and lower beakbone providing ultimate flexibility for dynamic animations. Twenty-one Morph targets offer unparalleled versatility, enabling detailed control over various elements of the model. Mouth and phonemes are cleverly controlled by morph targets located within the HG mesh. When selecting the HG mesh and navigating to Object => Properties => Deform, these controls come alive. Each wing features five bones and has six distinct Morph positions: Fold-1Quarter Fold-2Quarter Fold-3Quarter Fold-4Quarter WingsFlightAngle - essential for achieving realistic wing position when tilting the body for flight. WingSpread To maintain the desired horizontal wing angle during body tilt, simply employ the MorphtargetWingsFlightAngle. The Tail spread is effortlessly controlled via Morph tagetTailSpread; while the Tail bone expertly controls its position and rotation. Each foot features 12 precision-controlled bones for a true-to-life experience. To smoothly fold the wings using morph targets, follow this critical step: ZERO out your wing bone positions. By doing so, before or just after applying the morph targets, you can enjoy perfectly seamless transitions, ensuring that every pose looks convincingly realistic.
