This is a printed sample from my Da Vinci 1.0, and I coated the extruded logo with white acrylic paint after deciding not to use two coats of white nail polish initially. A pilot hole is visible at the bottom of the model, allowing for a subsequent drill through for the guitar knob stem installation later on. The fear that the model may slip caused me to fill in the gap with Gorilla Glue; following this step, I plan to redrill a smaller hole in an effort to utilize the adhesive's inherent friction due to its sponginess. It was printed at two inches wide as is evident. Addendum: A different STL file "cover" can be found here, providing a bulkier version of the model with cavities within large enough to accommodate snugly fitting over smaller existing guitar knobs allowing for proper threading afterwards in the final piece.
