Thanos Figurine
thingiverse
Why waste valuable materials on a grueling test when you can achieve a sense of accomplishment at the end? This particular challenge is indeed demanding, but the reward is worth the effort - a beautifully crafted final product. Difficulty level: 7 out of 10, mainly due to the common struggle with supports. To overcome this hurdle, I used Meshmixer to generate custom supports (4.0mm thickness, 45-degree threshold) when printing my model, and to my surprise, it required only one successful print attempt. Thanos on the Throne is more than just a name - it's a testament to resourcefulness and determination. When faced with the hefty price tag of $800 for an official Thanos model, I decided to take matters into my own hands and create my own version. Both versions of the design are included: one with supports and another without. Rest assured, no special printing requirements are necessary - I successfully printed this model on a printer that doesn't even have a PLA cooling fan, and it handled the supports with ease.
