Thanksgiving Menorah

Thanksgiving Menorah

thingiverse

This year, Hanukkah coincides with Thanksgiving, so I created a unique Thanksgiving Menorah by combining the symbols of both holidays. The turkey on this menorah was painted by Rabbi Michele Medwin. The brass candle holders have 12mm diameter inserts. This innovative design wouldn't be possible without Freckles' Turkey Gobbler inspiration. To print it, I used MakerWare with a MakerBot Replicator2 and adjusted the settings as follows: Infill at 10%, Layer Height of 0.200mm, only one Shell, Feedrate at 90, Travel Feed rate at 150, and a temperature of 230. Printing took 2.5 hours on a 165mm wide print bed.
