Photogrammetry capture of a piece of pottery unearthed on the Thames foreshore at Bankside in 2020 reveals its stunning green glaze. This artifact appears to be a rim with lid seating, suggesting it may date back to the Medieval period. As documented by Richard Hemery's Identifying Pottery of the Thames Foreshore, this find is a significant discovery. The model contains two levels of detail: LOD High and LOD Low. LOD High boasts 500k triangles and an enormous 8192x8192pixels diffuse texture, providing unparalleled level of detail. LOD Low features 50k triangles and a 4096x4096pixels diffuse texture, ideal for scenes with reduced complexity. A total of 588 photos were taken in a lightbox using a Sony a6000 camera in February 2021. These images were then processed in Reality Capture to create this photogrammetry model.
