Photogrammetry capture of a distinctive piece of pottery unearthed on the Thames foreshore at Bankside in 2020 reveals its medieval origins. A striking color gradient defines the core, while prominent finger indents are visible on the rear. The model encompasses two distinct levels of detail. The high LOD contains an impressive 500k triangles and a 8192x8192 pixel diffuse texture, meticulously captured from 490 photos taken in a lightbox with a Sony a6000 in February 2021. These images were then processed through Reality Capture to produce the detailed model. The low LOD features a more condensed 50k triangles and a 4096x4096 pixel diffuse texture, providing a smoother and more efficient rendering experience.
