THALYS PBA
thingiverse
High-speed trains PBA (Paris – Bruxelles – Amsterdam) are SNCF Network three-branch trains adapted to circulate in Belgium and the Netherlands, operated on behalf of Thalys. They differ from other Network three-branch trains by their specific Thalys garnet and silver livery and interior layout. They integrate several onboard signaling systems (KVB and TVM France, TBL Belgium, ATB Netherlands). Additionally, they have a pantograph snagging system to pass over the many drawbridges in the Netherlands where there is a break in catenary continuity. Since 2009, they have undergone the same renovation as their PBKA counterparts (interior renovation, addition of ERTMS for circulation on the new LGV linking northern Antwerp to the Netherlands, change of livery). These units are, like TGV PBKA and TGV Network trains, capable of 320 km/h speed. They can operate in Multiple Unit configuration (2 units) with TGV Network trains, as well as with TGV Duplex, TGV PBKA.
