The Penteconter (or Penteris) alongside other war galleys like the bireme were used as main ships in naval battles during the centuries before the Persian invasion. These were the ships that transported the Argonauts and Odysseus through their adventures and brought the "Greek" invaders to the shores of Troy. In the game Thalassa: Naval Battles on the Ancient Seas, the Triremes are the main ships of the fleets with the Penteconters acting as Auxiliary Ships. Fast and very manoeuvring, the Penteconters will act as remoras to your attacks swarming enemy Triremes or supporting your larger ships in their ramming actions. Designed by Dankaiminiatures, this set is optimised for UV resin printing and is supplied fully supported at 1/300 scale. The set includes options for open and folded sails, the Mastery Flag to indicate the game proficiency of the ship's crew and a selection of crewmen to decorate the deck. Also in this set, you can find three different figureheads/horns to customise the bow of the ship and that are fully compatible with those on the Triremes files sets.
