Although the Lateen sail has not been documented as a type of sail used during the time that influenced the game of Thalassa, we thought they were just lain cool and that helps to bring different fleets a new touch and a bit more personality.We wanted to take the opportunity to also introduce the options for the masts so players can magnetise their masts and Master Flags ('Magnetised'), or simply slot them together by friction ('Slot in'). We have tried to listen to all the options and ideas related to the way players want to have their masts built so we hope you all find your ideal solution.This set of Lateen Sails is composed of one Mainmast and Small mast (to use with the Pentere) with the two options (Slot in and Magnetise), one Lateen Mainsail and one Main sail folded, one Lateen Small sail and small sail folded and one Lateen Jib. We have also includded several options for the crown nests so you can pick and chose the one that feels better in your army, specially if you plan to use the ships Upgrades (coming soon). Magnets: We have designed the Magnetised system to be used with neodymium disk magnets of 2mm diameter by 1mm height. Designed by Dankaiminiatures, this set is optimised for UV resin printing and is supplied fully supported at 1/300 scale.
