A Protective Case for the TGY-I6S Radio Controller Takes Shape. I designed this protective case with simplicity as its guiding principle. After multiple iterations, I'm convinced that the design achieves its goal without requiring a substantial amount of filament to print. Printing this design works well, but using supports is essential. Fortunately, these supports come off relatively easily when printing with Cura. I hope you find this design appealing! Update 07/26/2018: New Developments: ➜ I've added an STL file specifically for the pin. ➜ Uploading a new version featuring improved lower surfaces, making it easier to remove supports. Additionally, this updated version includes an M6 hole instead of the pin and other enhancements such as refined fillets. For your convenience, I've left the original file intact in case you prefer it or if the new design doesn't print as expected. Print Settings: Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer Model: Mini Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.1 mm or less delivers excellent results. Infill: Feel free to choose an infill percentage between 5 and 40% according to your preference.
