This project is still a work-in-progress (WIP). If you decide to print one, please post pictures so I can see how it turns out. I previously shared this version before modifying it for printing on a Monoprice delta mini. The small blocks are designed to be mounted flush with the surface of your enclosure's base, and I'm using a Lack enclosure as my test subject. The brad-like items are actually rivets that used to pass through the 4 holes in the flush area on the backside and then got glued into the 4 recessed blocks earlier. The last two blocks in the enclosure are meant to be attached to the next module using 3mm ABS filament. None of this has been tested yet, so I'll post the small bed version along with the rest of the modules as I complete them. Since I haven't had a chance to fix it yet, if you're going to print this design, please note that the blocks for attaching the rivets need to be lowered by a couple of mm so they don't float in mid-air. On August 3rd, 19, I modified the design slightly. There will now be two versions available: the first set will be broken up since the new set needs everything except the case. I decided this needed to be more durable because it's the only part of the enclosure control box that's exposed and vulnerable to getting bumped. The new design features three 3mm plates printed in the opposite plane, which should provide a similar effect to plywood. The box itself remains mostly unchanged, with new mounting holes for the updated items and removal of some internal clutter. Expect the small bed version soon, as this one is a bit more challenging.
