This design is specifically intended for mounting a TFMiniPlus sensor, which is often utilized when seeking to integrate lidar technology for height sensing into an RC Plane running ArduPilot or similar autopilot software. To accommodate this, I created the mount to securely fasten onto a 3D printed plane, requiring only a thin layer of PLA as a mounting surface.
