TFA Dostmann CO2 Monitor Wemos D1 Mini Backplate
thingiverse
This is a replacement backplate for the TFA Dostmann CO2 Monitor that can also neatly house a Wemos D1 Mini without requiring hotglue on the original backplate's rear side! Use some double-sided tape (or normal tape; it doesn't matter) to keep it in place. When combined with the GitHub project [**THIS GITHUB PROJECT**](https://github.com/schinken/esp8266-co2monitor), which transmits temperature and CO2 readings via MQTT, you can integrate it into your Home Assistant setup quite nicely. PS: Be sure to mount the "hot" side of the Wemos D1 Mini on the backplate's rear side (as shown in the pictures), away from the motherboard of the CO2 monitor; otherwise, this could result in incorrect readings. I'm not certain how accurate the meter is with the D1 Mini mounted close to the measurement probe since it also produces a bit of CO2 due to heating it up.
