Textured Terrain Rollers

Textured terrain rollers for terrain crafting, basing, etc. Perfect for adding intricate details to your tabletop gaming terrain, model bases, and more! These hollow rollers are about 1.25 inches in diameter and 3.5 inches long, and are designed to work with mediums like milliput and green stuff, and should also be compatible with foam and other similar materials (we have not tested these on foam ourselves). Our terrain rollers are optimized for use with SLA/resin printers, and we've included both pre-supported and unsupported files for your convenience. While it is possible to print the rollers without supports, we've found that using the pre-supported files or adding your own supports can help avoid layer separation for a smoother finish. Add some texture and depth to your miniature landscapes with these versatile terrain rollers. How to use:To use the terrain rollers, simply roll out your material with something flat like a glass, rolling pin, spray can, etc. and roll the textured roller over the material like you would a rolling pin, applying an even pressure. On some materials, water may prevent the material from sticking to the roller. When crafting miniature bases, we recommend rolling the material out right on top of the base and trimming with a knife around the edge of the base. Pressing the miniature into the material before it hardens will also make an imprint of its feet for easy attachment once the material cures.
