Textured Cube Gears

I've always been fascinated by how different image textures can be used as displacement maps, so I decided to experiment with them on a cube gear cube. These particular cubes aren't ideal for mapping most photos due to an enormous gap in the center of each face, but when it comes to textures they look surprisingly effective.
