The press is a machine compression located in the ERGA hall of Naousa. It was used to compress products of the textile factory before their final delivery to the customer. The main materials it is made of are metal and wood. The basic parts of the press are the electric motor, the central shaft, the gear system, the compression space, and the safety handles. During its operation, the electric motor gave motion to the central shaft (through a belt that is not shown in the 3D model), which then turned the gears. After the gears lifted the base of the compression space, where the thread was located, it compressed it at the top part of the space, which was sealed with the safety handles. At the end of the process, they secured the compression space by opening the safety handles to remove the ready thread for delivery. https://www.naoussa.gr/
