Just a quick remix. This concept is more in line with old Commodore code. Instead of just using a rotated box, characters are used to create the maze. The ╱ and ╲ symbols have been relocated from positions 205 and 206 to Unicode points U+2571 and U+2572. To make this work, you'll need the DejaVu Sans Mono font. Alternatively, you can download it or use your own font.
