The Texas Potato Masher II Antenna http://wb5rmg.somenet.net/k5oe/Texas_Potato_Masher_2.html Two-meter and 70 cm antennas for working low Earth orbit satellites such as the ISS, Oscar, weather, etc. Both versions can be built on a 1/4 inch fiberglass rod (tent pole), but you may need to support the 1/4" fiberglass rod boom on the two-meter version, depending on the weight of your construction. Print two "Eggbeater antenna top shafts" and one "Eggbeater antenna short mid shaft terminal block" per antenna. These parts can also be used to build an "Eggbeater" style antenna, but for LEO work, the "Potato Masher" mounted horizontally on a single-axis rotor works better.
