Was asked by my brother in law if I could make something like this a while ago, he grew up in TX, is a musician, and is a big fan of vinyl.Tried a few different ways of making a .svg image file of Texas into a 45rpm adapter and this is the most useful and efficient way I came up with. This is a two part model, with the actual 45rpm adapter being the “male” extruded part, as it has an emboss to be able to press fit and attach the top Texas part that is the “female” part with the deboss. They press fit well, but I used a dab of super glue to permanently attach the parts.I made the center hole in the model 7.75mm as that kept the adapter easy to slide on and off the few different record players I tested these with. I didn't want it to be too tight, as that would defeat its usefulness.I have included three files:“TX45rpm” - has both parts plated in the correct orientation for printing."TX45rpm_Male" - 45rpm adapter with inner extrusion.“Texas_Female” - Texas map model with the deboss to fit the actual record adapter. If you want to make your own, the important dimensions are as follows.Center hole 7.75mmExtrusion from 7.75mm to 10mm and 1mm tall.
