Tevo Tornado Z-axis Damper Bearing

Tevo Tornado Z-axis Damper Bearing

thingiverse

This is a replacement bearing for the Tevo Tornado upper z-axis threaded rod. Remove the original and replace it with this one, potentially reducing "ghosting" on your machine. This design should also fit the Creality CR-10 as the Tevo is a clone, though measurements haven't been taken to confirm. Print instructions for sleeve design: Print the _pblock and _sleeve files from ABS, PLA, or other stiff plastics you prefer using 1.6 mm walls and at least 1.0 to 1.2mm top/bottom layers. No supports are necessary. Print the _pblock file with the ring face down on the bed, ensuring a smooth print. Print instructions for no-sleeve design: For a two-piece design, simply omit printing the sleeve and then print the _dbearing_no_sleeve file from TPU or ninjaflex. *Note: Sainsmart TPU was used in this application and provides a stiff yet suitable outcome. Ninjaflex may be too soft; however, its suitability remains uncertain due to lack of experience with it.
