Tevo Tornado X-Axis Pulley Wobble Fix
thingiverse
The Tevo Tornado employs two 8mm ball bearings on a 7.7mm screw as an idler pulley for the X-axis belt, resulting in wobbling bushings with a 0.6mm offset. This wobble combined with incorrect positioning may lead to vibrations on the X-carriage. A fix that properly aligns the bearings for the belt is necessary. To achieve this, you will need an M6 x 25mm screw (which can be longer) and an M6 lock nut in place of the existing M8 screw. Begin by tapping the parts with the M6 screw from the opposite side, ensuring the notch aligns with the bottom of the bracket. If the parts do not fit, consider lowering the extrusion multiplier. The design is intentionally tight, so finding the right extrusion multiplier is crucial for printing this correctly. For further adjustments, a Fusion 360 .f3d file is included. Parts required: M6 x 25mm screw (Din912, Din7984, ISO7380) M6 lock nut
