This is a protective barrier that prevents the control box from sliding under the X-Axis block, which includes both the stepper motor and the X-Stop sensor. It also serves as a compact storage container for tools, screws, or any other items you may need to keep handy. To secure it in place, simply attach two T-bolts to the open frame.
