Standalone Kit for Tevo Tornado This kit enables the mounting of components from the Tevo Tornado control box, Raspberry Pi 3B+, or Pi4 under the bed, with the screen on the front rail. Two 6015 fans blow downward directly onto stepper drivers for cooling, directing air out the side of the case and through the PSU case as well. The X and E stepper plus X-limit cables are relatively short but don't require lengthening to fit this kit. The case lids snap onto place easily. This design is optimized for printing at 0.2mm layer height and shouldn't need any supports. The mains socket from the control box needs one mounting ear trimmed off to fit under the frame rail; refer to a photo. The frame feet are printed in firm flex filament, but you can print them in rigid filament and attach the original rubber feet if preferred. If doing so, stretch the small feet for under the cases in the Z dimension to ensure they still contact the surface and support the cases. There are multiple versions of the mother board case: MKS Base 1.4 (first Gen Tornados), MKS Gen-L 1.0 (subsequent Tornados), MKS SGen-L 1.0, and MKS Gen 1.4, each with separate versions for Pi3B+ and Pi4. Note that only the Gen-L version has been tested; if you encounter errors with other versions, please contact me. The PSU case comes in two versions: one with tabs for mounting under the centre (Y) extrusion and another without. Different people have requested both options. There are also two screen case options: one with a 45-degree angle from horizontal, which will protrude below the printer's surface, and the other with a 24-degree angle that doesn't extend below the surface. In both cases, the screen case needs to be mounted to the frame before installing the screen; test fitting and tapping holes first is recommended.
