Tevo Tornado Stock Part Direct Drive Mount

Really effective and simple direct drive mount for the Tevo Tornado using only stock parts that come with the printer. It mounts on the front two threads, and an optional plastic thread is added in the back to secure the main printed part with an extra M3 screw that pinches the main aluminum X carriage. The hot end cooling fan is directed straight at the heat sink. Your fan speed can be lowered a bit by default with this mount to save noise, and it also helps deflect air away from your print. You will need about 80mm of bowden tube to get from the extruder to the hot end, but that's as close as you can get with stock parts. You can leave the threaded bowden connection at the "titan" extruder free for ease of access, and ditch it at the extruder side. You will need to extend the servo wires for the extruder motor to retain full use of the Z axis. The fan mount is very light, weighing only a few grams, and is very effective for its weight. The wire holder for the hot end can be removed quickly for quick access to the entire system.
