Necessity always demands creation's attention, and in this case, I'm upgrading my Tevo Tornado with an MKS GEN-L V1.0 board. To keep the drivers running smoothly, a good ventilation system is essential. After searching Thingiverse for a suitable mount, I found only designs made for the GEN V1.4 and above versions. However, I discovered a helpful design by ***gdramos*** at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2780438, which inspired me to create this cooling stand. To build it, you'll need: - 4 x M3*30 distance male/female connectors - 4 x M3*8 screws - 2 x 40mm fans - 4 x M3*8 screws for the fans - 1 x step-down module from 24v to 12v for the fan Optional: If you're using 12v fans, consider soldering their terminals together and ensuring a step-down is in place before connecting them. **UPDATE 2018-08-29** During my recent installation attempt, I noticed that the fan collided with the box side fan. To address this issue, I created an improved version of the design, which allows the original box side fan to remain in place. **ATTENTION** To maximize airflow inside the control box, you'll need to reorient both original box fans. Failure to do so will cause the fans to work against each other and trap hot air inside the box.
