Tevo Tornado MKS Base Gen L adapter

This is a custom adapter that adjusts the mounting holes for the controller board to fit the MKS Base Gen L v1.0. It originally ran on an MKS Base v1.4 with DRV8825 stepper drivers soldered directly onto it, but I wanted to use my TMC2208 instead and had an unused Gen L board on hand, even though the hole patterns between the two PCBs weren't compatible and the USB port would be misaligned. Mounting --------- This adapter can be pressed into place over the old screw pillars (and I also used the original M3 bolts for extra security). You can then use self-tapping screws or additional M3-bolts to attach the Gen L board to the shifted holes. Stepper drivers -------------- By configuring jumpers on MS1 and MS2, all TMC2208 units are set to 1/16 microstepping. Similarly, setting jumpers on CFG2 configures DRV8825 units to 1/16 microstepping, just like the original setup, so you don't need to reconfigure steps per mm – it remains the same as before. Settings: ### X TMC2208 VREF at 0.8V (equivalent to 0.57A) ### Y TMC2208 VREF at 0.8V (equivalent to 0.57A) ### Z TMC2208 VREF at 1.4V (equivalent to 1.0A), possibly overkill, but I was too tired to tinker with it further and 0.8V wasn't sufficient. ### E DRV8825 VREF at 0.5V (equivalent to 1.0A) Note that I couldn't get this setup working properly with the TMC2208 without configuring it first, as it would lose steps. Additionally, keep in mind that my printer is set up with a direct drive 3mm titan extruder rather than a standard bowden setup. LCD ---- When installing the display, make sure to remove the tabs from the display cables and flip them "the wrong way" on the MKS Base Gen L – at least mine was soldered in incorrectly (or maybe it's the LCD itself that's wired the wrong way, I'm not entirely sure).
