I'm sharing my files used for the X Linear Rail upgrade on my Tevo Tornado Gold version. This project was quite challenging, but I eventually figured it out after experimenting with a few different mods. The files in this Remix are what worked for me, and I've been using them without any issues for two weeks now. To replicate this upgrade, you'll need to purchase a 400mm MGN12H Linear Rail, which I sourced from Amazon. Additionally, you'll require some parts that can be printed via 3D printing. For the X Axis mount, there's a spacer involved. This spacer gets installed into the idler pulley and then screws into the stepper motor using a screw. I used a GT2 Idler Pulley for this setup, which is relatively inexpensive on Amazon. You'll also need to use four 30mm x M3 screws to secure the stepper motor in place. If you have an assortment of longer M3 screws available, as I did, that's a bonus. You can refer to the Remixes I've tagged here for more detailed guidance on installation. Some key components include: * One 400 mm MGN12H Linear Rod * A selection of M3 Bolts (30mm to 40 mm length) * New belt * Three GT2 Idler Pulleys The new belt and idler pulleys can be purchased as a kit from Amazon. Alternatively, you could consider printing them via 3D printing.
