Mounting on original holes on the carriage is recommended.\r\n- A custom layer fan duct provides concentrated and aimed airflow.\r\n- The adjustable height of the layer fan allows for customization.\r\n- Support material geometry is included in the design.\r\n\r\nThe photos demonstrate excellent performance with a 100mm bridge and the capability to create a 200mm bridge as well.\r\n\r\nBill of Materials:\r\n- Stock M2 screws are required for the layer fan, four in total.\r\n- One stock M3 screw is needed for housing installation.\r\n- An M3x10 (or M3x12) screw and nut combination is necessary for additional housing support.\r\n- Four M3x10 screws are required for heatsink fan installation (or M3x16 if a fan protector is added).\r\n- Two M3x6 screws and two M3 nuts are needed for the adjustable layer fan mount (M3x10 can be used as an alternative).\r\n\r\nInstalling the inner screw with nut may require some care, refer to the photo for installation guidelines.\r\nOther screw installations are straightforward.\r\n\r\nV2 Update:\r\n- Added structures secure cables effectively.\r\n- A second mount is provided for the fan.\r\n - Print a mirrored fan mount and mirrored fan duct to accommodate this feature.\r\n\r\nBasic mounting structure credits go to https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2748815.
