I needed this for my new Bond-tech direct feed on the Tevo Tornado, as the filament sits atop the printer. By positioning it this way, I'm able to keep the filament safely away from the metal frame, which is a definite plus in terms of safety and aesthetics alike, not to mention the fact that it simply looks cool.
