A custom remix for the YL-99 sensor is readily available on Chinese online stores. They're easily accessible and can be purchased quickly. The sensor is mounted in reverse, I'm aware of that. It works perfectly fine like this and no modifications were made to it. Changing the filament with this setup attached at the extruder can take some time, but it's definitely doable.
