Hotend Mount for E3D V6 on Tevo Tornado The E3D V6 hotend is a must-have upgrade for any 3D printer, and I was thrilled to find a way to mount it on my Tevo Tornado. After switching from my Anet A8, I realized that the E3D V6 hotend offers slightly better print quality than the original one. I discovered that the frame piece designed by "DemolitionX" can be easily modified to accommodate a BLTouch sensor. To make this work, I used the BLtouch mount created by "gdramos." The resulting offsets are: * X: 42.5mm * Y: 12.5mm * Z: 0mm To install the firmware for your Tevo Tornado, simply download it from here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/lfg2wd5sq3f0wtw/Tornado_Firmware_Updated.zip?dl=0. For a step-by-step installation guide, check out this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mBwHGuX5de8. To assemble the hotend mount, you'll need: * Original screws * E3D V6 hotend with BLTouch sensor * 5015 Blower fan To print the parts, download and slice the following files: 1. e3d_v6_mount_with_bl_touch_fixed.stl 2. e3d_v6_modular_fang.stl I've also included a version of the mount without the BLTouch sensor for those who prefer it that way.
