Tevo Tornado/Creality CR10 Y Belt Tensioner
thingiverse
Inspired by skartz's semi-original design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2562946) and nzalog's remix (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2924457) of a Y belt tensioner for Tevo Tornados, Creality CR10s/Ender 3s, and other printers similar to theirs. Skartz's design and this one do not share interchangeable parts. The design boasts fewer components, no support material needed, a smaller footprint, better clearances without slop, and shorter print times. However, it does require an extra M4x22 SHCS and one M4 nut (unless you use the m4 lock nut already on your Y bracket). You will also need one M5x25mm hex head screw, and one M5 nut, just like the designs that inspired this one. If a toothed idler pulley is used, the screw head may not clear the edges of the pulley with the standard sled. I've added Y_tensioner_sled_ext to fix this issue, giving more clearance for the idler and ensuring a smoother print process.
