Tevo Titan extruder adjustments
thingiverse
The Tevo Titan clone extruder, a version from 2017, comes with several drawbacks. - The "nut" where the pneumatic connector gets inserted lacks threads, and instead relies on tapping its own thread into plastic; this is not an ideal approach - when your hotend or nozzle gets clogged, this powerful 4:1 extruder will continue to work and push out the coupler from the extruder along with remaining threads. Also, being round-shaped, this nut can simply turn in the casing depending on the amount of force needed. My "fitting_nut_with_threads_m10_1.stl" addresses these issues by featuring M10 threads for connecting an M10-PC4 pneumatic fitting and a U-shape that prevents it from turning freely. - The tensioning screw is positioned in such a way that you can't access it because of an aluminum profile blocking the path. You'll either need to shorten your wrench (a 6mm one works) or use the "e_miniwrench.stl" to get the job done; it's not perfect, but it gets the job done. Be prepared to replace it periodically as it's made of plastic, however, it prints in under 30 minutes, so there's a trade-off.
