Tevo Tarantula Z Motor Stop
thingiverse
The purpose of this compression-mounted stop is to limit the Z-axis travel at its minimum and maximum. We've all been there - crashed the hot-end onto the bed or worse, scratched the glass. After learning from our mistakes, I now use these stops on several printers and prefer hearing the stepper motor come to a stop instead of seeing scrapes and broken parts while reaching for the power switch or cord. For the Tarantula printer, consider using two stops. Just make sure they are securely mounted about 1mm below your minimum and maximum Z-axis travel. I adapted this design from an innovative coupler created by Loco on Thingiverse http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:602481. Print Settings: Printer: DIY Prusa I3 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 30% Notes: You may need to scale the design for a proper fit.
