I made this pivot to reinforce the Z axis, enabling multiple mount locations and effortless attachment. The hole is designed to accommodate 1/4-20 all thread, but it will require tapping. Alternatively, you could insert a rod with adhesive. This setup should fit a 20mm extrusion using 4mm bolts and a T-nut. Now I can easily align the base with the Z axis using this support. How It Was Designed Using Fusion 360 Overview and Background Z Axis Stabilizer I designed this to make the Z Axis more robust. This will allow mounting onto a table or plywood base and enable multiple angles for adjustments around various modifications. I used threaded rod to bridge the distance.
