Tevo Tarantula Z Axis Stabilization Bracket

This is a stabilization bracket designed for the Tevo Tarantula printer. The stock printer's Z-Axis floats on a flexible shaft coupling, generating vibrations and compromising rigidity. To install this bracket, you will need 1) an 8x22x7 bearing, standard in size, and 2) a specialized 8mm shaft collar, as well as 3) two 4mm T-nuts and M4 bolts, which are likely already on hand. The bearing and collar can be sourced affordably from Amazon. A homemade shaft collar can also be created using a lathe or by printing one with any suitable material; a suitable design can be found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:400921. Amazon listings for required components include: https://www.amazon.com/Skateboard-Bearings-Double-Shielded-Silver/dp/B002BBGTK6 https://www.amazon.com/Ruland-MSP-8-SS-Two-Piece-Clamping-Stainless/dp/B0063L7GZW This bracket was printed with 100% infill for maximum rigidity. To ensure optimal performance, it is recommended that an 8mm washer be placed between the bearing and collar to prevent the collar from coming into contact with the bearing's shielding. The bearing's shielding may not always align perfectly with its inner race, so this precaution is necessary; however, results may vary depending on specific bearing models used.
