Tevo Tarantula Titan Direct Drive X-Carriage
thingiverse
This is my custom-designed x axis carriage for the Tevo Tarantula. It's engineered to work seamlessly with an E3D Titan extruder, a pancake stepper, and an E3D V6. I carefully crafted this design to center the nozzle without increasing the width of the stock x carriage, so you won't lose any x range using this carriage. Since it moves the nozzle significantly lower than standard, you might experience some z range reduction, but that depends on your specific setup. This carriage is built to support the rollers from both the front and back using 45mm M5 bolts. While 40mm bolts could work, they'd be a tight fit, so you'll need spacers or washers to fill the space behind the roller. I strongly advise against supporting the rollers from only one side, as it can lead to issues like axle bending due to the weight of the hotend and extruder, and force during filament changes. Another important note is that my printer homes to the positive x position, which is why the endstop on this design is positioned accordingly. However, you should be able to mirror the back plate and use the same model for a printer that homes x to zero. Note: The fan shroud in the picture is also one of my designs, specifically for an E3D V6 or V6 Lite hotend. You can find it here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4131980
