Tevo Tarantula Pro Encoder Knob

The Tevo Tarantula Pro is a top-notch FDM printer, but some essential parts you'll need or want to customize aren't included. Fortunately, you can print those components yourself using the TTPro, but if you desire that sleek factory appearance for your parts, you'll have to use a resin printer. I used an Elegoo Mars, which I highly endorse, yet feel free to select whatever option suits you best. Obviously, this knob is not strictly necessary as a functional one comes with the printer, but I really admire the TTPro's look with a longer, slimmer black encoder knob just like in Tevo's 3D rendered promotional materials. So, I designed my own! Beyond its sleek shape, it features knurling on the shaft and has a skirt around the base that blocks the LCD's backlight from seeping out around the knob. Check out the attached images. The STL file might need to be rotated in your preferred slicer so that a flat face is sitting on the printing plate/base. Take a look at the attached image of the part placed in ChituBox for an example of what worked for me, and should work for you too. When printed with a resin printer and properly positioned on the build plate, this part doesn't require any supports. I wouldn't recommend printing this knob on an FDM printer or the TTPro itself, as you'll likely lose all detail on the knurling, but it's up to your discretion!
