Tevo Tarantula MKS Board Cable Strain Relief
thingiverse
After seeing Charles_Snyder's strain relief model on Thingiverse, I decided to print one myself, but it turned out to be quite large and required supports, which prevented me from fitting the top plate with the fan back in place. So, I created my own version. This new design has several advantages: - A sleek, minimalist look - No support needed during printing - Less plastic is used for the print - There's good clearance between the solder on the back of the MKS board and this model - It allows you to mount the top plate with the fan - The print time is approximately 20 minutes Important notes: - When installing this design, be aware that you'll need to add a M3 nut between the brass spacer and the board to level it on the opposite side. - Instead of using M3x20 screws, I opted for M3x25 because: 1) I use washers everywhere 2) The M3 nut barely covers half of the M3x20 screw when considering all the added components - If you're using an MKS board offset like me, replace the bottom left M3x25 screw with a M3X20 screw to avoid it touching the offset. I designed this model in AutoCAD and have included the DWG file for anyone who'd like to create their own version.
