I appreciate the use of transparent acrylic panels on the mainboard and LCD control board - they offer an attractive view into my electronics and mechanical workings. However, I've encountered issues with exposed sides being detrimental to electronics, particularly when working with metal tools like forceps or Xacto knives that can easily short out the board. My solution involves a wraparound design that balances ease of use and installation. To implement this, simply remove the rear plate and slide the wrap around the hex stand-offs. The wrap is secured by its hooks on the edges, allowing it to stay in place once the rear plate is reattached. A convenient feature includes leaving the left side open for easy access to the SD card, as well as a slot at the top (or bottom, depending on how you orient the wrap) for control wires. To minimize the need for supports, print this design with the wire slot facing up. Despite its tight fit on a standard Tarantula bed with a 7-line skirt 3mm from the print, it can still accommodate a 7-line skirt 3mm from the print.
