Tevo Tarantula Large Bed Glass Corner Brackets retainers
thingiverse
Couldn't find any brackets for the large bed Tevo Tarantula, so I made these up myself. You don't need to remove the screws to install if you want to fight the bed springs. There are front brackets and rear brackets since the screws are located in different places. Print with ABS or a material that can handle higher heat than PLA - I'm just testing with PLA right now. The brackets I added have holes for 3mm screws, which helps stabilize the glass without actually clamping it to the bed. I noticed using binder clips that as the aluminum bed heats up and deforms, the glass will also slightly deform if it's thin enough. This was one of the main reasons I came up with this design - to avoid that from happening. Just a reminder: Don't troll on other people's designs like someone else is doing to me on this design. Make improvements, redesign, contribute - that's what this place is for. Good discussion about the design and respectful criticism are all good too. But if you're going to roll into someone's design thinking you're better than anyone else and bash on it, forget about it and move along. Tevo owners with the larger bed option will know why I designed this. Like it says at the top - "Hey, this thing is a work in progress."
