thingiverse
#### Changelog **2017.10.24** - Added another version (v2), both files included. This version lets you write any 3D text over it. Two units must be printed and they can be printed horizontally. The smaller side is the one that attaches to the gantry. **2017.09.29** - Created initial version #### Description This is a 120mm LED strip cover to attach to the X axis of a TEVO Tarantula 3D printer with glue. This cover saves you from getting blinded if you installed the LED strip like I did (see pictures). #### Dimensions Cover size: 120mm (you need two of them) #### Functional Description I didn't want to use any screws, so I printed two covers and glued them with double-sided tape on the X axis. The LED strip is connected to the MKS board through one NPN transistor. You'll need to change a few lines in the firmware (see pictures), and I also enabled light control via menu. On my start and end code, I added: **START CODE:** `M355 S1 P255; turns light on` **END CODE:** `M355 S0 P0; turns light off` #### Others **Designed by:** Vasco Baptista **Designed in:** AutoCAD **Attached files:** STL and DWG
