Tevo Tarantula end stop Y/Z bracket
thingiverse
I loaded up the original STL file in Cura and CraftWare, and they seemed to confirm that it would print solidly. I installed MatterControl, loaded the model, and it appeared as if it would print with holes correctly. However, I prefer not to connect my PC to the printer for prints, so I exported the G-code and printed it remotely instead. The result was a print with holes, but unfortunately, it didn't include the top layer, rendering it useless. Next, I tried printing from Cura directly, which produced a solid slab as expected. I then imported the STL file into Tinkercad.com, where ironically, only the holes were rendered. Armed with this information, I added a block on top and grouped them together so that the holes would subtract. This created a workable part, which I then exported as an STL file again and printed using Cura without any issues. Everything worked out perfectly! In the photo, you can see the original STL print from Cura on the left, followed by the MatterControl print in the middle, and my remixed version printed with Cura on the right. To match the 5mm thickness of the original part for added rigidity, I made it slightly thicker.
