Tevo Tarantula Electronics Case
thingiverse
I created this case specifically for a group of young innovators attending a 3D printing camp. The design is geared towards safeguarding the children from hazardous electronics while also streamlining wire management. To achieve this, I crafted the case to snap together with ease, incorporating slots for zip ties as added reinforcement when needed. As long as the manufacturing tolerances are precise and the wiring remains organized, assembly will be a seamless process. In addition to the protective casing, I've included a comprehensive set of instructions designed to facilitate effortless assembly of both the printer and the power supply enclosure. These step-by-step guides were modeled after Lego instruction manuals, allowing the kids to follow along with confidence. To further enhance their learning experience, we built an actual printer alongside them during the camp, providing hands-on insight into how individual components interact and function.
