E3D V6 Extruder Mount for TEVO Tarantula X Carriage. Carriage mounts with standard hardware in standard locations. Two M6 bolts secure the E3D tip, which is slightly higher than standard, requiring a 5 mm Z height adjustment. Several users have asked about firmware changes; I found necessary adjustments through Google and YouTube research. However, a more effective method exists! I've included my Marlin firmware for your reference and download. This is an open-source Marlin Firmware that has functioned flawlessly on my TEVO Tarantula for hundreds of hours. Nevertheless, it may not work as intended on your printer. I disclaim any responsibility for uploading this firmware, as I'm simply sharing modified settings from the original project. I based my modifications on "ArcadEd"s online tutorials and built my printer accordingly. If you followed these tutorials, your limit switches and travel moves should match mine. I've added notes to the Firmware highlighting specific values that I altered. Before uploading to your printer or attempting a print, carefully review all settings and limits. While this might seem obvious, users with prior experience will understand the importance of verification. My extruder is an Ebay clone, and its thermistor may require different PID settings than the original version or your purchased clone. Download "pronterface" and consult YouTube tutorials for guidance on performing a PID autotune. The Firmware includes notes detailing my changes, making it easy to adjust values specific to your device. Even with proper setup, I recommend periodically conducting PID auto-tunes every couple hundred hours of printing to maintain optimal temperature control.
