E3D V6 Extruder Mount to Suit TEVO Tarantula X Carriage.\nCarriage mounts with all standard hardware in standard locations. Extruder clamped on with 2 M6 bolts and nuts left over in packaging. E3D tip is slightly higher than standard tip, so Z height will need to be altered, only about 5 mm. \nUPDATE \nI've had several PMs regarding firmware changes; I simply searched Google and YouTube until I worked out what I needed to change. So... I'm including the Marlin firmware that I use on my TEVO for you guys to download and use.\nThis is Marlin Open Source Firmware, which has worked flawlessly for hundreds of hours on my TEVO Tarantula, but may not work on yours. I assume no responsibility for you uploading this firmware; I haven't developed the project or firmware, just adjusted some settings to modify my TEVO.\nAgain, I've used these EXACT files for hundreds of hours, but your printer might be built differently than mine. I built mine based on ArcadEd's online tutorials, so if you followed them, all of your limit switches and travel moves should be the same as mine.\nI've added notes throughout the Firmware specific to the values that I've changed; I strongly suggest checking all of the values and limits before uploading to your printer, and again before your first print! Of course, if you're downloading this extruder carriage and firmware, you must have already crashed your printer a billion times like I did; I thought this might make it easier for the printer noobs like myself!!\nMy extruder is an eBay clone, and the PID settings for the thermistor may not be the same as the original version or the cloned version you purchased. I recommend downloading Pronterface and watching some YouTube videos to work out how to do a PID autotune; there's also a note on the values that I've changed so it will be easy to see which ones to change once you have your specific values.\nEven if everything works properly, I'd recommend doing a PID auto-tune at some stage, and again every couple hundred hours of printing; it helps temperature control SO MUCH!!\nAny questions, fire them through and I'll do my best to help. If you like the files, drop me a dollar or two; it's much appreciated and will encourage further TEVO hack uploads.\nHopefully everything works for you; Happy Printing!!\nRemember to upload photos of your print too!!\nUPDATE: 2 STLs added with titles "3 wheels" and "4 wheels"; they can be printed and used by themselves or with the Part Cooling fan that I've designed, which won't work with the original E3DV6 Carriage.\nBoth the 3-wheel and 4-wheel carriages are designed to mount with the text facing down so it can't be read when mounted; I didn't think anyone would want "ALBATRONic" plastered all over their printer.\nUPDATE: Download the Part Cooling Fan that I've designed as well!! Keep your tool cool and your corner sharp! https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2787627\nPrint Settings:\nPrinter Brand:\n Prusa\n \n Printer:\n Prusa Clone\n \n Rafts:\n Doesn't Matter\n \n Supports:\n Yes\n \n Resolution:\n .2\n \n Infill:\n at least 25%\n \n Notes:\n Printed at 10% infill and it works but for strength recommend at least 50% infill (helps when you crash it into the bed while re-setting your Z 0).
