This is a custom Z setup for the Tevo Tarantula printer that I designed because other similar configurations didn't work for me (no clearance for the Z limit switch and various problems). This setup has been thoroughly tested and works with the stock Tevo Tarantula printer as well as the Mackers.it carbon fiber upgrade. It also includes Oldham couplers to eliminate any Z wobble caused by thread rods not being straight, and a new adjustable mechanism for setting the Z limit switch distance using a screw. Print Settings: Printer: Tevo Tarantula Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.3 Infill: 30% Full Honeycomb Notes: You will need to use supports for the Right motor mount and Limit switch bracket. The default setting for supports in Simplify3D should work well. Also, don't forget to rotate all parts so they lay flat on the bed and you will have minimal overhangs that require support. 1. Print Left_motor_bracket.stl and Right_Motor_Bracket.stl 2. If you want to use the screw-adjustable limit switch feature, print Limit_Switch_Mount.stl and Limit_Switch_Screw_Holder.stl 3. If you want to use Oldham couplers, print 2x Oldham_Coupler_Bottom.stl, 2x Oldham_Coupler_Middle.stl, and 2x Oldham_Coupler_Top.stl. If you don't need or want couplers, print 2x Leadscrew_Nut_Bracket.stl instead Post-Printing: Glue on limit switch block Depending on what fits you will have - in case of limit switch mounting block is not a tight fit, simply glue it in place! Invert Z axis You need to invert the Z axis movement direction in firmware. Open firmware source in Arduino, connect printer to computer via USB, edit this line in Config.h, and upload your changes: #define INVERT_Z_DIR true
