Tevo Tarantula case mk1
thingiverse
In a case for the Tevo Tarantula 3D printer, you can attach the MKS base 1.2 board. Power is supplied by a micro ATX PSU that fits perfectly into the provided slots. Two openings are also available for 80mm cooling fans to keep your printer running smoothly. The SD card slot has been omitted in this version since I use OctoPrint and the Raspberry Pi is neatly integrated into the case. To reset your printer, you'll need to use a reset button from Kossel Mini SmartLCD-Case by schlotzz, available on Thingiverse. Here are the dimensions of the assembled case: 18cm wide, 19cm high, and 16cm deep. You may also need some additional components to secure the elements together: * 20 M3.5x12mm cross countersunk screws * 8 7/16" cooling fan mount screws * 8 M3x8 screws for the LCD display board and the MKS base board * A C14 Plug Power Socket I've made several updates to improve this case: * Update #1: I added four new panels, including a whole panel and one without a fan grid. * Update #2: A new rear panel with holes was designed for fixing a micro ATX PSU board (110x85mm). * Update #3: A new left panel features a hole for the SD card. * Update #4: The top panel now has holes to attach a Raspberry Pi. * Update #5: I made a small improvement to the ventilated rear panel. * Update #6: A new left panel was designed with holes to attach a little relay module. * Update #7: A new right panel features shorter aerations, allowing you to attach any module. To print this case, use the following settings: * Printer Brand: RepRap * Printer: Tevo Tarantula * Rafts: Doesn't Matter * Supports: Doesn't Matter * Resolution: 0.15 * Infill: 15% * Notes: I encountered no difficulties while printing the different parts.
