This mount was designed to minimize offset issues. It secures the BlTouch between the wheels of the X-Carriage, allowing for automatic probing of the entire bed. Initially, I used a 5mm offset without a shield and encountered overheating problems. This led me to discover another mount (listed below). I decided to add a shield, and this solution appears to be working effectively! There are two different mounts: one with a 5/3mm offset from the wheel axis, meaning that the 5mm is closer to the hotend. **UPDATES:** * March 29, 2018: I lowered the cable holes of the shield to avoid compressing the cables. I haven't printed ABS and recommend printing the mount out of ABS if you plan to use high temperatures.
