Tevo Tarantula belt tensioner
thingiverse
I designed this tensioner specifically for the Tevo Tarantula upgraded with Perry Posthoorn's aluminum parts (https://taralu.net/collections/aluminium-parts). The tensioner can be used on either the X-axis hotend carrier or Y-axis bed carrier. It will fit perfectly on the hotend carrier designed by Perry, and it can also be used on the bed, but you'll need to drill two 3mm holes in the aluminum bed carrier. The tensioner consists of two printable parts that slide smoothly into each other. I allowed a design tolerance of 0.3mm, so both parts should fit together snugly. If they don't align properly, use some sandpaper or tweak the step file slightly to ensure correct tolerances. Before assembly, drill and tap the slider for an M3 thread. Then, if necessary, drill the other part so the screw turns smoothly inside it. The picture should provide clear instructions on how to assemble this tensioner.
